Sudan Ministry of Tourism contracted VIA NOVA for Sustainable Development to inspect the potential of Ecotourism development of several locations around the country that is focusing on nature, wildlife and relates to the local community involvement, submitting a detailed report on each sites potentials and development needs.

Tourism Development In Sudan Tourism Destinations

BACKGROUND:

Ministry of Tourism in Sudan commissioned VIA NOVA GROUP to prepare a development vision for a group of tourism destination around the country. A team of firm’s consultants conducted a field survey to these sites and prepared the needed report through close consultation with the ministry’s key staff before being approved by the Minister of Tourism.

MANDATE:

  • Assessment of current facilities and management situation

  • Socio-economic assessment

  • Infrastructure and facilities visions and standards

  • Tourism activities potential and market assessment
